This is based on the cost of these options on the LE. Of course, we will know the true numbers when the prices of the option packages becomes available. But in any case the profit margin of options is always much higher than that of the base car, so one would almost certainly lose.

I will point out that the stats for the 08 on fueleconomy.gov are identical to the stats for the 07 (except that the 08's greenhouse gas emissions color-bar has 5.4 at the 'best' end, despite the fact the bar is supposed to be at 3.5 tons at that end; the 07 has its 5.4 about where 5.4 would be).

Think the performance and everything is exactly the same for 08 as for 07, or did they just estimate based on the 07?
