yes..i immediately purchased one...and the bottom line with the GL...is that for me hills are a killer...i get terrible mpg's up any type of hill..no eco light...so basically it kills the overall mpg....
i wish i had waited for the version two...of the hybrid...so it could be partially electric driven...oh well...maybe a trade in ..in a 3 years..

Hills are killer on ANY car, hybrid or not. Accelerating up hills is the absolute worst. Best thing to do is plan in advance for the hills, don't accelerate through the hill, and charge on the way done. As HybridVue says, be a "smooth operator".

"Smooth Operator" does help but I have gotten my worse gas mileage going over the mountains of Western Maryland and West Virginia. If you took out my trips west - I would be pushing 32.5+ mpg lifetime with the Hybrid.
But that is part of driving. You take the good mpg trips with the bad mpg trips.
