My brother in law had an accident in his 2007 HCH II and is thinking of parting it out; he hasn't decided whether to keep the battery pack as a spare if he buys another HCH II or whether to just put it on ebay or something.

He was talking about selling the pack itself for $750; just the battery not the other electronics inside the metal can that sit next to the battery.

Considering the HCH II's are so new I doubt anyone will need a pack yet, but shoot me a message or something if you're interested.

Was the car insured? (or did you just buy it back from the insurance company?)

Hmm did the car have GPS? (I'd be interested in that!

Also, I think you can get a good amount for the seats (if the airbags didnt go off), the engine/tranny and the wheels!
