Default Xtreme Dominoes - with Accord parts

Some of you have probably already seen this Accord commercial from overseas. It's pretty neat. I don't recall the source, but it's rumored (I don't know, it looks awfully complex not to be "enhanced") to be all actual moving parts and not CGI'ed.

Anyways, the parts used are pieces from an Accord. Pretty neat video.

If anyone has got more information on this video, like how it was made, please post up!

I recall seeing this or something like it (not w/ a wagon though) a few years back for the Superbowl or something? The ad agency swore it was not CGI.

Yes, this came out several years back.... amazing. It wasn't CGI but it took many, many takes to get it right.

I believe it was upwards of 600 takes over 4 months or something. They actually used two cameras and seamlessly spliced the video together; that was supposedly the only "video magic" used. The rest of it was all for real. The tires rolling uphill had very heavy counterweights inside them to permit them to roll uphill.

lotsa takes, but the actual commercial was just one take or maybe two (in other words, it worked from start to finish or maybe it worked from start to point X and then from point X to finish)

the concept is called a Rubie Goldberg machine and Honda got the idea from from a 1987 German movie called "The Way Things Go."

Honda completely lifted things like the tires rolling up the ramp from the movie, but it's cool...
