Well, schools out for winter break and i finally have a nice rendering to show ya'll what i've been working on in my drafting class. Our school is considering building a golf facility on campus (would be a first for a highschool in Georgia) and is having the top drafting students design it (again....a first). I mainly did the thinking and drawing as my recent drafting was in 3D not architecture but once we got the main plan down i was in buisness. This started out as a shot i took of the site were the building would go and then i placed the building on it w/ a shadow map and a correctly placed light (to sho shadows from the sun. yup...function over form. This plan actually derived when the client came strait to us as the head architect was going nuts w/ a 2 story design that was apraised to cost around 300,000$ (this one would be around 40,000$)
