Using firefox, if I click a link with the click option of my scroll wheel, it opens it in a new tab! I figured this out by pure accedent...but oh think of the time savings and the lessened amount of errors accedentally clicking on open in new window instead of open in new tab on the drop menu. I realize...i am a dork, but then again i am going to Ga. Tech. so it kinda makes sense. And who knows, maybe someone else could benifit from this accedental knowledge.

Yepp, it sure does! On Windows, at least. Heck, maybe it even does on Mac. My mouse isn't really that great and isn't fully compaible. Shouldn't have bought a Microsoft mouse. I'M the idiot.
BTW Cmd+click works on Mac.

Which mouse? I have the Microsoft Bluetooth Intellimouse Explorer. Honestly, if you have extra USB ports, or mainly if you have a desktop, don't get a Bluetooth mouse. They're not very sensitive.
Although I'm on Mac, the drivers they provide don't work properly. There's no uninstall, and only the main two buttons and wheel works. Not the click wheel or side buttons.
Don't get Microsoft! Try Logitech? Monopolies ruin the industry!

Why would you use a Microsoft mouse with a Mac in the first place? At any rate, my last 3 mice have been Microsoft mice. I loved them so much I got a wireless MS wheel mouse for my computer at work even. Hopefully no one steals it!

I was thinking of this one Jason

Its just so dang comfortable for my wrist on the desk fingers on the mouse style. I need to find a store that has the logitech

out so i can play around with it. Any ideas on why it would say Mac compatible then the click wheel not work?
Also, w/ the mac, do you prefer Camino or Firefox?

I ended up getting the Logitech Mouse, seems that maybe it is an OS thing that the extra buttons do not work as the click wheel on it doesnt work, but its comfortable and mobile so i'm not complaining. now to find an open source IM client for mac...
