I don't see why it wouldn't be correct. In fact, I think it is. I just think we're not used to metric measurements and it seems odd to us. I need someone who's used to them

No, it's not right at all. There's nothing tricky to understanding metric, it's just different scales for measurement. SD is the square root of the variance, so you should end up with a number like 0.1 to 1.0, nothing big. Same type of thing with the error calculation, although I have no idea how you generate that number.

for SD, you may be able to calculate it like this: Take the mean, convert it to metric, then add the US standard deviation to the US mean and convert that to metric, then take the difference between the two metric numbers and that should get you the metric equivalent SD. Trying to convert the difference of US measurements won't work because you'll end up with a very large number because of the inverse scale, you need the difference as metric.

So for the accord the mean is 29.7 and the SD is 4.2

29.7 -----> 7.92
33.9 -----> 6.94

diff = 0.98

That would be the SD for the HAH.

Well, this is a pickle, then. Right now I'm using a script someone else wrote to generate the standard deviation and error based on array (group) of mileages. I think I'm going to put this on my "todo" list and look at it tomorrow. For now they'll be question marks

Another question: People who use the Imperial system use Celsius, correct? I would assume so.
