Test drove a Leaf today
I'm located near Chicago.
Although not available yet I was able to test drive a Nissan Leaf yesterday.
Outstanding.
Home assessment scheduled for the last week of September 2011.
Unless Nissan drops the ball it will ultimately replace my 5 year old Toyota Camry Hybrid.
Our 2009 Toyota Venza remains our "road machine".

Interesting, however it seems Leaf is not a Hybrid car, it is fully electrical.
I am looking for an onboard battery charger, for Leaf, powered by a jet engine, is it possible?
I have seen some turbocharged reciprocating engines to recharge the batteries.
Why are those, better than Jet Engined Generators?
I wonder.
