I was once pulled over late at night. A group of friends and I had car pooled to a restaurant. (this was back in the 80's too!) Anyway, cop saw everyone pile out of my car and into theirs. He picked one person to follow and pull over. ME! Said my brake light was not working. I jammed a fire extinguisher I had on me on the pedal and went back to check. Hey! Its working now. Sure you didn't confuse my blinker with a brake light? He hated that. Asked me if I was drinking (standard issue question) and in fact I had not touched a drop of alcohol in 4 years. He asked me to go through the routine. ABC's, Counting, Walking the line. All along I was insisting on a Breathalyzer. He refused. I SANG the ABC's to him and when I got to the end of the line, I did a Hop Skip and Jump (turn around). He was really pissed off and all I could do was laugh. I was laughing the whole time! Why? See, out of the 4 other cars he could have pulled over, I was the ONLY one who did not have a drink that night.

But, all in all; He was doing his job. I was just glad for the first time in my life I was completely in the right and had not broke a single law.
