Default First Glitch

In the last day or two the audible alerts for the entry system have stopped. No horn when locking the doors with the keyfob or the high beeps when operating the pushbuttons door handles.

Will be heading to the dealer soon.

You should be able to prgram it the way you like it. Check the manual. H

I was wondering if maybe I'd hit a combination of buttons by chance and turned off the audible alerts... I'll check the manual.

Thx

I have managed to do the same thing!!

Please let me know what you find in the manual or what page # is the most helpful. Sometimes the manual is like an IRS form....

this happened to me also (along with an intermitent "service motor soon") the service tech explained how this option works:

you can turn the audible signals on and off by pressing the lock and unlock buttons (on the key fob) at the same time for a few seconds.

Ah thanks! I looked all through the manual with no reference to this. Hopefully that fix works.

You are not correct. It is in the manual as I saw it just as pebes explained. However, I will agree on one thing. The manual is not very well written or complete in many areas.

For instance, the information on the power meter is not very helpful. How to use it to drive more efficiently would have helped. I have found more information on these sites than anything Nissan offers.

I sell Japanese industrial machinery and equipment, all of the manuals are written in "Jenglish". One manual actual has "Clacking" pressure instead of Cracking pressure written several times, oh well. It does bring a smile to my face everytime I see it!!

I think they are just too darn proud to have a round eye proof read the manuals as it would show a sign of weakness...

I was probably a little overzealous saying I looked through the entire manual. I looked up all references to the alarm system. Must be referenced in the keyfob areas
