Anyone know if anyone at Nissan has ever thought about it/considered/rejected it? And does anyone know how I might create a perception of demand for it?

Any idea what the MPG might be on that? Our Altima Hybrid is my husband's commute car. I am going to get my own hybrid and was planning on getting the 2008 Prius when the new version came out... but I'm definitely falling in love with our Nissan.

Is the Altima coup hybrid going to be using Toyota's hybrid technology... or will it be Nissan's? And if not - when will Nissan launch their own technology?

 

Nissan isn't pushing the hybrid. I think they're just doing it, to do it. I doubt you'll see it in the Coupe. I hope I'm wrong - time will tell. If they do, I assume they'll put the same system in (Toyota's). Don't know when Nissan will have their own system - I'm not sure they see the value in it yet...

Nissan will probably wait until Toyota makes a hybrid Solara first.

By the way, I think the Altima Hybrid is the most fun car I have had in years.

Just got word that my Altima Hybrid is on the truck and should be here within the week. This week yet or early next.

I looked at the interior photos recently of the Camry Hybrid and the Altima Hybrid. Both with all the options. For some reason the Camry looks rather plain inside compared to the altima with its fake wood trip. yet all the reviews seem to call the Camry more plush than the Altima. I guess it is more on what you are looking for and your own point of view
