I'm just curious if anyone has received their RX 400h yet.
If so, please be the first to share your experience.

 

Delivery to dealers is slated for May 15

 

I read that some of the West Coast dealers are receiving the RX400h by April 20th....What gives?

 

Maybe so...West Coast sometimes get the early ones...the market, the money....the guinea pigs!!

The only thing "official" I've seen said May 15, and it seems like we'd have seen somebody bragging about theirs.

 

According to the press releases dated Nov 8, 2004 and Feb 8, 2005, April 15 was the "On Sale" date. Where did you see it listed as May?

I just had in my head May for some reason...is that the Highlander Hybrid?

Nah... Highlander is set for June 2005.

The April 15th date for RX 400h always stuck in my head because of it being the Income Tax Deadline.

I've talked to four dealerships and all have received 400H vehicles. They are delivering to those on the list. I went to my local dealership on Wednesday and drove one that they are holding as a demo. It was exactly as expected: has the feel of a RX330 but with the power system of a Prius (although it has apparently been enhanced from the Prius). I guess this is considered a 3rd generation hybrid system.

Yes, the car has virtually every option listed as standard. As mentioned in another thread, the only options are the stereo system, the DVD player, the heated seats and the floor mats. The version I drove had all of these except the DVD player.

It's nice. Too bad I'm #49 on the list! :-(

As of today 4-22, a user on Edmunds has their RX440h in their garage.....I think he said he was in Savannah....said he may not drive it much it's his wife's car...

(somebody's a little bit pampered, now isn't she?)
