Charscar RX400h
With just over 2000 miles on my RX-400h which I purchased in early July I'm getting around 22.9 MPG. Still hopeful the MPGs will rise a bit. Driving is a mix of city and highway; more the former than the later.

I'd almost say it is too early to really know how or when the RX and HIHY will break in. Give it some time, but honestly, you are doing very well for a true blue suv.

Re: Charscar RX400h
I also have had disappointing results in initial mileage with my HH 4wdi.
As you have reported, my mileage actually went down as the miles went up !!
Most recently I took it back to the dealer who drove it with PC attached and gave me a printout which reported 35mpg hiway and 55 mpg city ???
Just out of curiosity I checked the tire pressures and found my left front @ 22 lb instead of 32 lb. This tire was as it was since I picked it up from the dealer 1600 miles ago.
Initial results, 1/2 tank since filling all tires to 32 lb are encouraging, will run it 'dry' to
compute true mileage.

Re: Charscar RX400h
I got my hybrid from a guy named Greg Gordon at Metro Lexus in Cleveland. The first thing he told me is "dont expect to save a penny". He explained the h as if it were the M division of BMW or the AMG division of Mercedes. Cant wait to see the GS450h.
