You might have trouble finding a LS600H. Sales of hybrid Lesux sedans for August 2008 were 106 units. I couldn't find a breakout of GS-H/LS-H (anyone?). Lesux hybrid sedan sales are probably near or at the bottom of currently available hybrid sedans.

And you could have 3.5 TCHs for one LS600h and get nearly twice the FE

I have seen a few GS450h on the road but never a LS600h. I know they sold a fare number when they were introduced in 2007. But maybe they are all on the Left coast in Celeb-ville. Has anyone seen one on the road?

Curiosity got the best of me. A quick look at some used car sites and I found used LS600h in CA, TX, FL, IL, MN, NV & NY. Granted some may have been bought at auto auctions but this probably represents some of the areas were these are bought/sold. The cheapest I found was a 2008 with 5K miles for $94K. Sounds like a good deal

 

I've seen them around NYC but still only a handfull.. I think the 600H is another rich mans Toy.. My Opinion

 

I saw one earlier this week in Oakbrook (IL).

 

I dropped into the local Lexus dealer (only one in the area) to see if they had one. It was in the showroom! Nice car. But it was dirty inside (needed vacuuming). Funny car. Seats four. Tiny trunk. But the car is the size of a yacht! -IF- I had the money I still wouldn't buy one!

 

I think I'll wait for the GS450h system to be upgraded to the new DFI V6 and then put in the LS, an LS500h that gets 30MPG....??

My '92 LS400 has 248HP and that's more than enough.
