Default More Enthuasic About Solar Power

On second thought, solar power might be more useful than originally thought. It could keep the hybrid batteries from losing their charge, even if left idle for days parked outside. Solar power with capacitors would give more room than hybrid batteries, might cost less (not sure on the cost).

If they made this powerplant set up in a Mustang I would be first in line!

Looks familiar, anyone ever seen the rear end of a Chrysler Crossfire?

I'd buy one, except it looks like one of those "greenie movie star" cars that will probably cost half a million dollars each. If Ford somehow made the Reflex affordable, I'd give it a whirl.

Here we go again. First Ford teases us with the Ford Meta-One diesel-hybrid (which is doubtful if it will be built), and now with the Ford Reflex. Ford is a worse tease than some teen-age girls. With the US diesel fuel standard going to ultra low sulfur this year, Ford should be well placed to inform us if they plan go to production with a concept vehicle or if it was built as a research vehicle. Why can't Ford be more forthcoming about their future plans like Mercedes-Benz has done with their new 50 state ready ultra clean 2007 C320 Bluetec diesel. I don't want to get my hopes up just to be let down. That being said, I do really like the car and I'd like to learn more about the Reflex's specifications.

A friend of mine was up to the NAIAS for press days and snapped this photo for me.

In a sunny area it could actually be quite useful. It's not a matter of instant power, it is a matter of time... You drive your car to work and it sits there for hours....

That is a lot of potential power.
