Motor Trend - Oct 2005 - '06 Civic Hybrid
The October 2005 issue of Motor Trend has a short write up about the '06 Civic Hybrid. I don't know how many of the differences between the earlier models and the '06 model are already common knowledge, but here is a summary of the changes Motor Trend lists:
1.3-liter four is now a three-stage i-VTEC, putting out 93 hp and 89 ft/lb torque. Total combined gas/elec hp/torque is now 110 and 123 compared with the earlier models' 93 and 105.
CVT is the only transmission available.
Motor-only drive mode between 10 and 30 mph.
AC works when the car is running just on the electric motor.
50 mpg combined city/highway.
The car weighs more than previous models.

The additional item is how long the motor-only mode engages - between 1 and 5 minutes, per Car&Driver. That was a bit disappointing, IMO. Given that it only engages at low-speed cruise, I don't see how it helps much in stop-n-slow driving. We'll have to see when the first ones become available, and some of the FE experts here get their hands on one.
