Honda hybrid tops fuel economy list

gee, whoda guessed! i got 78 mpg on my drive to work this afternoon, 60-65 mph all the way. and my tires are about 4psi low, too.

___They took the EPA city and in case of a tie, they gave the gold to the one with a higher Highway EPA. In the real world with the right driver, the Corolla would more then likely best the Escape HEV overall but it would be very very close depending on the conditions and how aggressive the Corolla driver was with his hypermiling techniques while cruising around town …
