Honda tops list, Toyota slips, Ford gains in annual car survey
Here are some highlights of the Consumer Reports new 2007 Annual Car Reliability Survey.
Ford performed better than it ever has. Honda and Acura have the highest average scores of 36 brands. Toyota slipped some, to the point that the magazine won't automatically recommend its cars and trucks to readers. Still, of the 39 most reliable cars in the survey, 17 were Toyotas.

As far as the Tundra and FJ Cruiser goes, Toyota was just providing what big, dumb Americans apparently clamor for: huge, unreliable, overpowered guzzlers. You can't really blame Toyota for giving customers what they want.
