GM to Provide Hybrid Transit for Super Bowl
They expect to save more than 100 gallons, so it's a good news!

Still seems funny for GM to provide the transportation to Ford Stadium. I can only imagine the newspaper headline. "GM sends everyone to Ford this year"

Does this make up for the Cadilliac Escalade being the Official Vehicle of Super Bowl 40? Wouldn't you love it if the Super Bowl MVP told hundreds of millions of viewers: "Can I have a hybrid instead?".

LOL. Not bad.
I've been wondering if SEMPTA or SMART would start using Hybrid busses. GM world HQ is in the Ren Cen, in downtown Detroit, and whenever Hybrids were brought up, it was always GM's response about hybrid busses.
Looks like we may finally be seeing them in the Motor City. Now all we need is a driver to come here and try to be a hypermiler.
