GM invests $115 million in hybrids
I saw this yesterday, but didn't get around until posting it today. There was another article about hybrids as well, but I can't find it now. I'll allow a slight personal bias, and hope that they'll create something better than the Vue Hybrid seems.

I hope their new transmissions are a completely new design,reliable CVT and not just a multiple gear traditional AT.

Thank you martinjlm for the info on 2-mode hybrid system - it really needed to be included with the Tahoe/Yukon announcement.
I was a bit hard on that omission. I'd love to find out more and figure how it compares to the HSD and IMA....
