Energy e2: Paving the way
"In America alone, nearly 70 percent of oil consumed is by the cars we drive."

I saw the first series Design e2 and thought that was wonderful but didn't even know about Energy e2 until today where I must have seen a rerun of episode 3. This particular episode was almost a huge Chevy Volt commercial (sorry the web site has minimal clips of the show). They did mention some other lightweight materials like carbon fiber and polycarbonate that could be used to lighten today's cars.
My question is if you start making the windows out of polycarbonate what do you do when they start to fog up? Buy tons of PlastX? How long does an application of PlastX last?
