Has anyone else seen the trailer for "Be Cool" with John Travolta. Ya
gotta go check it out at www.becoolmovie.com.

Travolta's out front of a nightclub, having just gotten out of his
Prius, and Danny Devito says "Is that your car?"

Travolta: "That's the, uh, Cadillac of hybrids."

Devito: "But what about speed?" as a yellow Ferrari? pulls up.

Travolta: "If you're important, people will wait." and pats Devito on
the shoulder...

Pretty awesome, eh?

Now I can hardly wait to see the movie and cheer at that line.

Although he shoulda been driving a Ford Escape Hybrid!

Let's hope hybrids get more promotion like this.

Wow, this thread is old

I saw Be Cool. Liked it a lot, actually. I can't say the paint the Insight in the best light, though. It's kind of a running joke how small and powerless it is...

 

Hi Jason:
___Who has ever said the above? The Insight 5-speed is a 10.6 automobile w/ a full pack and 12.1 with a dead one vs. the Prius II’s 10.5/14.x. If you were running up against an Insight in a Prius II, you had better hope you have a full pack or you would be looking at its rear bumper as it sped away down any length of road no matter how long. It has a much higher top speed, higher slalom speed, far more range, far more FE, and if you have ever been to an Autocross event, you will not see a stock Prius II as they are way to slow vs. the stock Insight by comparison.
