Too much fun!
Congratulations on the FEH and glad to hear you're enjoying it as much as I'm enjoying mine! 3226 miles on the odometer and finding myself volunteering to drive friends and family places I never would have volunteered to serve as chauffeur pre-hybrid purchase.

A friend of mine in Europe asked if I could show a couple of her friends from Spain around Houston for a couple of days. I said SURE!!! I would have never done that pre-FEH.
At one point when the engine turned off at a red light the man said - "but, why did you turn off your engine?" I had been waiting for him to ask (he's a car enthusiast) and so it gave me the perfect oportunity to explain...ALL about the technology, etc...
They don't have Hybrids over in Europe - mostly diesel. He really got a kick out of it. He left Houston wondering if he could get a FEH delivered to Spain.
Are you getting better mileage with the more miles you drive?

I still get sub-EPA except for one very good tank (37.3mpg), but given I'm often hauling 4 adults (including myself) or landscaping and/or home improvement supplies and it's averaging 95+ degrees Fahrenheit here, I figure that's pretty good so far. I drove my FEH like a dog this last tank due to ferrying family to and from the medical center to visit my Mom in the hospital for 9 days, so this tank I'm trying to reteach myself the "Hybrid Way" and am doing about 34-34.5mpg for this tank, thus far.
First of all, welcome to GH!
Feel free to look around, ask questions, and I suggest you take a look at the FEH FAQ, if you haven't.
If I may:
Most people see improvements around 3, 8, and 12 thousand miles. This is a combination of factors, but it's pretty much every owner has noticed the change.
