Default Newbie TDI guy want to say hi

I just recently joined to see what life is like on the other side. I have a 2001 VW Golf TDI right now and could not be happier but next time I'm looking for a vehicle I will have to try out both hybrids and oil burners. Hoping I can learn a bit and maybe even teach you a thing or two about TDI's.

Welcome to green hybrid. You will find other TDI owners here. Its good to have a balance to compare pluses and minuses. I think a lot of use would be interested in a hybrid diesel but so far none have hit the states.

seftonm,
Welcome to GH. I think a few "lessons" from the TDI group would be a good thing. We're always looking to learn more.

Feel free to track your fuel economy in the database too. It will be lumped in with all the other non-hybrids (like my 97 Civic, for example) but it's still handy information to have available.
