Newbi, 06 HCH due end of June
Hi,
Just ordered a 06 HCH w/nav yesterday. The dealer initially told me about 4-6 weeks. After pushing him a little he really means that Honda plans on MAKING it in 4-6 weeks.
So I should actually get it somewhere near the end of June.
I bought a 350Z last May that I'm going to sell. I love it but I need to spend more time on the road than I used to and the Z's 16 MPG just won't cut it. Also, I'm afriad that gas will get to $4-5 killing it's resale value before very long.
I figure if I'm going to sell a car that I would prefer to legally adopt then I'll get a car that makes it worth while for the mileage. I suspect it will change my driving technique, lol.
I looked at the Prius but didn't like it as much as the Civic and for another 2 MPG it's a little too much of a compromise for me. By "looked" I mean read about them because I wasn't able to find either one to even sit in.

I waited 6+ months for my Honda Insight. The dealer told me 3, but it ended up being a lot longer. Well worth the wait, imo. Actually it came 1-2 weeks sooner than American Honda told me (since I called them to check the status......). In the 6 months that I waited for my Insight I saw 3- one on the NJ Turnpike, one on rt. 202 in PA, and one the week before I got mine at a parking lot. There was barely any way to see one in real life, let alone test drive it. I love it though and learned alot from message boards prior to my car arriving. I also drive differently in the Insight, when you have a computer infront of your face in the car, you will pay attention.
