Default New HCH Owner - SoCal

Hey everyone,

I recently purchased a 2006 Honda Civic Hybird w/navigation. I wanted to join an online forum in order for me to share information on the best ways of getting the most out of my car. I hope I contribute as much as I get from others' contributions.

Hope you all enjoy your Holidays.

John

Thanks very much for the warm welcome. I am so glad I got the HCH, and not for the HOV lanes either. I mostly drive around town (usually around a 3 mile radius). My mileage has been on the low side, so I'm hoping I can get some tips on the best ways to maximize FE.

I definitely need a crash course on the greenhybrid.com shorthand, too.

Theres a glossary link on every page so that should help with the terms. It sounds like you have short trips. Thats going to put you at a dissadvantage, but I'm sure there is always room for improvement and I hope GreenHybrid helps you find ways to improve.
