NEW HCH OWNER AND LOVIN' IT!!
I've had my 2005 HCH for just over a week now. I got 37.4 mpg on my firsst tank but am hoping to greatly improve on that. I traded in a 2004 Mazda RX-8 for my new car - sporty, red and a gas guzzler! I never, ever got more than 18 mpg didn't matter how I drove!
I'm sure it's all been said before, but if anyone has any handy hints on how to improve performance, I'm listening.
Happy trails!!

Re: NEW HCH OWNER AND LOVIN' IT!!
THANKS!!
That article was great.
...2nd new tank and up to 42.4 mpg...it sure livens up the commute trying to beat my past mileage record! I pull into the parking lot, thinking goshdarnit!! I just needed one mile mile to squeeze it a little higher....I'm hybrid-demented now!!!

LOL the mazda RX-8 is sweet sports car, but high proformance usually leads to low mpg. Its amazing how u went from a over 200hp sports car to a humble 97hp hybrid civic.
