New Guy
Hey everyone,
This forum has been a pretty good wealth of knowledge in my search for a hybrid. Although I have read some mixed reviews I just purchased a 2005 HCH and I am really happy with it so far. I traded my 2006 Dodge 2500 Cummins 4x4 for it and couldn't be happier...lower payment..over double the MPG..$60/mo cheaper insurance and better ride. The car has higher mileage, albeit a 1 owner car, (141k) but I'm my own mechanic and have yet to encounter a vehicle I couldn't tackle...plus for the piece of mind I will be heading to a local Honda dealer to check the IMA and CVT before the 150k mark.

Oh if you only knew how true that is..owned the truck a year and actually drove it about 9 months. Transmission literally catastrophically failed and left me stranded. Plus death wobble and with a 3 month old son I needed something more reliable and friendly at the pump.

If it weren't for Chrysler products, half of the techs in the US would be out of business. I always hated working on them and back in the day (long, long ago...) the only thing worse to have in your bay was an AMC.
