New to Forum
Hello All,
I would like to introduce myself as probably the latest member of this forum.
I currently own 7 Honda's and the latest is a 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid.
I love it, however the mileage is a tad lower than what I had expected.
I live in Sunny Southern California on a small Ranch and commute 65 miles to work Daily.
Hope to be able to meet all of you someday
Thanks,
Riick

Welcome to greenhybrid. Now on to your mileage. How often do you use your A/C in sunny California? Is it set to auto all the time? Have you tried turning it off? Also, don't expect to meet epa numbers in any car including hybrids without making an effort to change the way you drive it. Most people drive cars without reguard to mpg and pay the penaltly. Do you race up to stop lights or do you coast in from 100' away? When the car infront of you moves forward 5' at a stop light do you move forward to close the gap?
There are a bunch of things that can be done to raise fuel economy and most of them have been mentioned on this site. Look around, I'm sure your going to love what you see.
