'just added the first tank of fuel to our new silver 2006 Prius - 338 miles/8.2 gals.The car is now broken in per the Toyota 500 mile criterion, and we averaged 54 mpg + (according to the MFD) between San Diego to Newport then back. It's a pretty cool car and so far we're glad we chose to buy it. The only drawback I've noticed is that it has a little more road-noise than I expected - otherwise, great car.
