Hi everyone. I'm new here, so I should probably introduce myself. My name is Fred and I have been committed to leaving a zero carbon footprint since the '80s (that was before anyone thought about carbon footprints, but you get the idea). Right now I don't have a hybrid, but I drive a 1987 Yugo and it gets 40mpg on regular gas if I'm careful. People think it is either really old and cool or old and stupid, but I don't care. It is good to be here with other likeminded people who are committed to caring for our planet and its ecoconcerns. I hope to make good friends here and help to do my part to keep the planet green!

Didn't even realize that there were any Yugo's from the 80's still going over here. What sort of issues have you had getting parts and keeping it going?

 

Funny, was thinking the exact same thing. Haven't even heard of yugo in 20 years.
