Default Hey All

Hello Everyone:
New to this forum and to Hybrids. I hope to learn a lot from all of the people in the "know" and casual drivers alike.
Just a brief; I commute 90 miles per day and may be up to 120 miles RT per day and now contemplating a Hybrid, not so much for the miles, which is important, but for "Carpool Access" during my commute. I currently drive an 96 Infiniti I30 getting about 25 mpg so I figure the gas I save should pay for some of the car payment or Ins. and the time I save onthe road should lend more time to my 11 month son and wife.

So, thank in advance for your help, advice and knowledge sharing.
I am considering a 2006 HCH, not too fond of the Toyota look, just personal opinion. I've read what was on the board and people who live in the LA, IE, OC, VC can share their experiences with their dealer would be greatly appreciated.

Given the highway miles, you've probably identified the direction you're headed. For a highway commuter vehicle, an HCH is a fine choice. However, there are some upscale hybrids that can be very comfortable.
