Cool Hello from new member

Hello, I just found this site and joined. I live in Northern Calif and have 2 hybrids.

A 2004 Honda Civic Hybrid that I've had almost 2 years now. After much experience with this hybrid I get an average of 43-47 mpg in mixed driving. (It's all about the acceleration!)

I just purchased a 2006 Escape Hybrid to replace my gas Escape that got terrible mileage. I'm anxious to see how the full hybrid compares to the Honda (mild hybrid).

Bill

Glad to have you. Both of your cars are terrific vehicles, and you'll see that some people on this site have developed obsessive techniques for squeezing every last mpg possible out of them.

Thanks, Civic Duty. I'm actually hoping to get some good tips and also get an idea of how my hybrid mileage compares to others. I know the EPA rating on the sticker is usually higher than real world mpg.

Welcome. I had the '04 HCH and upgraded to the '06. I love(d) them both. Enjoy your new Escape.
