hello from me!
i love to talk, so be gentle when you tell me to put a sock in it.. 
the short story is that i've been pro-hybrid for about twenty years, but only got to buy one in april of '04. i don't drive all that much, as a retiree, and put about 4000 miles on the baby in the first 12 months. then, drove it cross-country three times [L O N G story is at http://www.plusaf.com/prius/prius.htm and http://www.plusaf.com/coast/coast1.htm.
moved from Cupertino, CA to Raleigh, NC last summer, and my wife and i are loving it here in Raleigh!
i'm largely technoid, too, so you can read about things i've done and will be doing to customize the Prius, like adding a tow hitch and some other Coastal Electronics things....
and, of course, i'm OCD enough to scribble down darned near every detail of the car as i go. [except for outside temperature, guys.... ]

my "auto-yes-to-NAV" circuit is on the way from Coastal. unfortunately, somehow they picked up my old California address, and now they're trying to get UPS to figure out where North Carolina is...

I think I might have you beat. I did 36K miles my first year. At two years I'm almost at 60K miles already!
