Default Hello to everyone!

This site has provided some great information while I was researching new vehicles, so for starters, thanks for that! I settled on an HCH II, which I purchased last week (2008 model w/o navi). I'm coming from a 3/4 ton chevy truck, where I averaged about 11mpg, so pretty much anything is an improvement. I currently have just over 300 miles on my new civic, averaging around 37-38 mpg. The recent cold spell and storms don't help. You may not see me post much in the forums, but I'll try to keep my mileage up-to-date, and I'll certainly be lurking around here and there.

The rule of thumb is get the right hybrid that matches your needs and it is good that folks here were able to help. Looking forward to hearing new successes.

Welcome to the GreenHybrid forum!! It is a great site with tons of information and ideas on how to improve fuel economy. I am relatively new to this forum myself......having owned my 2007 TCH for 4 months now. I really love it and am getting good advice from this site!

Congrats on your new HCH!!! I hope you love it as much as I do. And don't worry about your FE right now. You will see it rise drastically as you get better at driving the car, the car breaks in, and it warms up. See you around!
