Got my new baby last week!

I'm from SE PA & just got my 2005 Prius last Wed April 26. Barcelona Red. It was a loaded demo with only 1300 miles on it.They'd just put it out for sale & I got it. Fantastic car & I just love it. Best car I've ever had ! So far I get 40-43 mpg on it

. A guy I know who has one says the mpg gets even better after 4-6000 miles

Welcome to GH!
For you the mileage will probably increase as your car gets "broken in".
There are seasonal variations in mpg as well. So when fall/winter sets in you may see a dip in mpg.
