WHAT: Toyota will introduce the FTX gasoline-electric hybrid V8 pick-up concept and the FJ Cruiser sport SUV concept at the 2005 Calgary Auto & Truck Show. Both concepts made their Canadian debut at the Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto in February, and Calgary is the only other auto show in Canada to have both Toyota concept trucks on display.

Toyota FTX is a tough truck with brute power and bold styling yet minimal impact on the environment, and hints at the styling direction for the next-generation Tundra. The FJ Cruiser is a rugged and capable off-roader built on Toyota's enduring truck heritage, and a production version will join Toyota's strong truck line-up in Canada in 2006.
