If they are as honest as some non-hybrid automotive forums, they will probably claim they increase your estrogen.

I think lots of people will wait for the new improved higher MPG 2008-2009 Prius now that there is some news about it.

"The Prius hybrid gas-electric mid-size sedan posted all-time best-ever sales of 12,227, an increase of 87 percent."

Seems like Prius is not dead and dying after all.

2007.... Prius sales double as more vehicles become available in the market and initial hesitancy of the new technology fades to acceptance.

Hi,
Reg gas is back over $3.00 in Western Los Angeles County. It has been trending up for at least a couple of months.
Still there a lot of Prius on the area sales lots.
Also quite good deals now.
Carl.

That's a key point.. The potential volume is there where it never was before. I'd venture that most stores now have twice as many units available to them as they did when the vehicle was white hot in the first couple of years.

Now any spur-of-the-moment buyer can drive an SUV in and drive off in the Prius of his/her choice!! And..at a very fair price too !!

kdhspyder makes a good point: spur of the moment purchasers have not been the target market for the Prius until now, so maybe it's an untapped area of the auto market. When there are waiting lists and headlines, you get the people who are planning ahead, the people who sit down and make lists and do comparisons, the people with time to decide before they buy and the people who go for products because they're trendy, popular, because it's a challenge or hard to get. Now that market is easing up a bit, and new potential buyers are available- this is not a bad thing at all!
