Gas prices hit record for 4th day
Gasoline prices hit a record high for the fourth straight day Wednesday, according to AAA, and more records could be on the way.The motorist group said the average price for a gallon of self-serve unleaded gasoline rose to $3.103 in its latest reading, which is based on a daily survey of purchases at up to 85,000 gas stations. That's up from Tuesday's record of $3.087 a gallon. Prices are now up 2.3 percent in just the last week and 8.6 percent over the last month.

Boy Howdy - just wait till that May 15th gas out ripples through the industry and gas prices tumble to record lows

Oh man, I had to fill up the other day and using the best gas, it cost $30. I'm at 580 miles, trying to reach 600 miles or $.05 per mile. Darn, darn, darn. <GRINS>

I've actually seen three or four stations on my route slightly drop the price of gas this week. All were $3.299, now they are $3.249 to $3.279. Not much improvement, but nothing worse either.
