Danish car designer attracts millions from Al Gore
The former vice president of the USA has an eye on Danish designer of luxurious electricity hybrid cars.
The Danish car designer Henrik Fisker presently draws attention on one of the world’s largest automobile fairs in Detroit with his proto type of a luxurious electricity hybrid car, writes ErhvervsBladet.
It is a top tuned battery operated race car with a top speed of approximately 200 km/h. When the car is to be launched during 2009 it will be with financial backing from the former vice president Al Gore.

Re: Danish car designer attracts millions from Al Gore
Sounds a little misleading; they're going to have financial backing from a venture capital firm in which Al Gore is a partner, not from him directly. Still, I suppose the point stands. High end hybrids- it just seems like such an odd pairing, sports cars and hybrids, because the aim of achieving high speeds and the aim of achieving gas efficiency is often a really difficult tradeoff (particularly in terms of the physics involved). Still, it would be a major engineering feat to manage to do both at once in a way that makes people who are interested in very high speed happy at the same time you make people who are interested in very high fuel economy. Best of luck to them.
