DaimlerChrysler says GM jv talks on hybrid cars to finish this yr
DaimlerChrysler AG and General Motors Corp are expected to conclude their talks on joint development of a two-mode hybrid propulsion system for their vehicles this year, DaimlerChrysler unit Chrysler Corp President Dieter Zetsche told reporters on the sidelines of a technology symposium.
Zetsche also said the two companies are planning not just to jointly develop the two-mode hybrid system but want to produce its components jointly as well, possibly by 'end 2007, early 2008'.
