Report: Honda fast-tracking updates to improve Insight

One of the main problems that Honda is having now with the Insight is the optional equipment and standard equipment.
Both the European and Japanese version of this car comes standard with features only found on most high end Acuras and/or Accords.
Equipment like:
Auto Folding Side Mirrors.
Rear Backup Camera (Japanese version has three, 2 front, 1 back)
Auto On Wipers
Auto On Headlights
BiXeon Headlights
Heated Seats
Door Sill plates
Optional Larger Wheels
and much much more...
This really erks me, since some of those features mentioned above come standard on the top of line (EX equv) at roughly the same price we pay here.
