I'm coming up on 20K miles (yes already!) on the new Insight and have my first funny noise. It's a minor one but it's happened enough where I'm concerned enough to check it out further.

Sometimes when I get in the car I hear a clunking noise as I sit in the seat or if I rock the car a little while sitting in it. I haven't pinpointed it yet but I think it might be coming from the left rear. I don't hear any noises while driving, even when I hit bumps. I've only heard this noise when I'm getting in the car.

I don't want to guess what it is until I get a chance to get a better look but was just wondering if anybody else has heard a similar noise.

I'm not trying to be funny, but have you gotton way down & looked under the driver's seat? I'm amazed by the number of different things that I've fished out from under the seats. Often this occurs on my quarterly good cleaning & vacuuming of the car. For example large plastic soda containers, water bottles etc. Good luck with it & enjoy the car.
