Default Is there a hybrid tax credit?

My local honda store wants MSRP and the local sales guy had no info on a hybrid tax credit.

The tax credit does not apply to Honda vehicles - it only applies to the American Car Company Hybrids:

You may have some sort of tax credit through your state government. I would look it up on your state government site. Good Luck! I know for sure that the Insight is going at MSRP everywhere if not above MSRP. The only Honda Hybrid I know of that has any room for negotiation is the Honda Civic Hybrid but that all depends on demand where you live.
