I am looking at purchasing either the Toyota Prius 2 or Honda Insight in November. I can't decide between the two. The Prius gets better gas mileage...the Insight is a little less expensive...etc. Everyone I talk to who has a Prius loves it but I haven't been able to talk to an Insight owner. Is there anyone here who has owned both? I like to keep me cars long term, preferably 8-10 years. Any thoughts?

 

I have a 06 Prius and a 06 HCH2. I believe the number sold will give you a wake-up call. Prius is working towards 5 million sold the new Insight may have sold 200 thousand maybe? Honda is having issue's with their electric packs other-wise not a bad chose. Go with the Prius! It is a very reliable and fuel efficient auto. H
