I just watched the movie on Friday and I cried like a baby! lol. I found an electric car group in my area and will try to go to their january meeting. Here is a link to their site with very helpful info:

After watching that i was thinking about how i could turn my little space pod into a plug in. Though i was gonna hold my breath for the all electric mini cooper
