What are the other vehicles in the photos? Obviously there is a Prius, but also a Honda Civic Hybrid. The Ford in the background isn't an Escape, which nixes my notion of a hybrid-off competition.

I agree this thing looks just like a Prius, but I think it's going to be big. At a pricepoint of under $19k this will open the door to many that wanted a hybrid but couldn't or didn't want to pay extra for one.
I give Honda big props... except I just don't know why they didn't retool the Civic Hybrid instead.

This one will go on sale on 4/22/09 (Earthday stunt). No word on specific pricing but its anywhere from 18,500 - 22,000 for the base model from what I've read so far.
Also on Honda's site it appears they are going to release it as a 2009 model. Haha the OP will need to wait until 2010 to get a 2010 Insight
