Can't find out what type of clip to buy for my 2006 Civic Hybrid yakima roof rack. Online they only describe up to year 2005. Anyone know?

 

I noticed on the Yakima site that the roof rack/accessory options are identical for the 2005 Sedan and Hybrid.

As far as I know, the roof design for the 2006 Sedan and Hybrid are identical.
So perhaps the 2006 Sedan rack/accessories would work for the 2006 Hybrid as well?

yes, just called yakima...

you need 2 different q clips...for the front get the 99's. for the rear, get the 131's.

there are m distances that the directions refer to also, which are not available throught the website. They are as follows:

M1 (distance between front brackets) is 441/8"
M2 (distance from the paint trim to the bracket) is 8"
M3 (distance between the rear brackets) is 41 1/4"
M4 (distance between the front and rear bars) is 32"

the fit is very good. hope that helps.

I prefer Thule with the square bars. I feel it is more secure and things cannot get loose and wiggle around. But, I have been loyal with Thule for 6+ years and their warranty and customer service is top rate. I am sure Yakima is like that also since I have friends that have their products and have had no problems with them.
