I just posted this in my "GOT IT" thread, but thought that I would create a new thread so that it is more visible.

Last year, when I bought my '05 Ody, fellow Odyclub.com members found that we were able to get XM for one year at $60. Many of us got it on the first try...many others had to try several times.

Now, with the price increase, people are still getting the half price deal of $77 for one year. Somebody just got a one year renewal at $77 after getting last year for $60.

The cost is $77.00 and they will give a 2 month credit of 24.90.
The cost for the additional 9 months would then be $52.10 + tax

One thing to note based on other people's experience. If you get a CSR that won't give you the promotion, tell them thank you and call back again. If you give them too much information or push too hard, some people have had it noted on their account and have never gotten the deal. Last year, I was lucky and got it on the first try. This year, my account is still showing a zero balance and no recent charges, even though the one year ended 11 days ago. So, I am just hanging out right now to see when it will be shut off or if they charge my CC since I added another receiver after Christmas.
