Yea, I remember hearing that too... I don't know if it's an urban legend or not... but you think of any supercar and they're definitely going to be available in red. I remember hearing that Yellow was right up behind it too:

Agreed. Someone try it in purple (my wife's favorite color) or turquoise (mine), please.

Ac tually, someone came up to me today in a parking lot and said the car looked great, and they LOVED the color ! Galaxy Grey !!
